
Next week, October 21 - 25, is
Digital Citizenship Week, championed by
Common Sense Media, a non-profit advocacy group for responsible media, along with Google, Cable in the Classroom, BrainPOP, CyberWise, and others. Common Sense Media offers a variety of
curriculum materials for all K-12 levels. You can also find some excellent materials from Google about using
YouTube responsibly and Digital Citizenship. Understanding digital citizenship is a critical skill for teens today given the 'always online' world we live in. If it can work into your plans for the week, I encourage you to consider some focus on Digital Citizenship or responsible digital practice. Here are some additional resources, courtesy of
