Google Docs Feature

Google Docs now allows a different header for the first page.  This now makes it a lot easier for students to follow the MLA (or other) format for their papers.  It was one of the drawbacks of Google Docs for academic papers.

When you insert the header into your document (select INSERT in the menu bar then HEADER from the drop down list), a tick box will appear at the bottom of the header.  Simply check the box.

 Note that the first page header AND footer will be different.
